For mining ops:

Industrial ships: you can haul ore

Mining skill: so you can use mining lasers
For supporting level 4 missions, we really need salvagers to follow our flagships:

Salvager I requires Salvaging level 1

Small Tractor Beam requires Science 3

The best salvagers are destroyers, but anything with two high slots can work land be helpful.

Astral Mining in Vylade and nearby systems
Solo mining can be done near Vylade easily, and the corp will happily buy your ores at above market prices.
Dodixie is a nearby tradehub with good prices.
